Delivery is 5 days per week over a 10 week period, with a 2 week induction/ train-the-trainer: making a 12 week contract per training cohort.

All curriculum materials and resources will be provided and the trainer will be responsible for reviewing these and personalising them ahead of teaching the content.

Requirements:

  • Solid IT support knowledge and have IT Service Management industry experience and be able to engage learners through sharing real-life examples and scenarios

  • Proven track record as an excellent trainer or educator, ideally working with adults.

  • Experience teaching in a virtual environment or online courses would be a plus.

  • Experience teaching technical content to a non-technical audience

  • Knowledge of safeguarding for adults

  • A bachelor’s degree or other relevant industry experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

  • Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), Zoom, Slack, and Google Driv

Responsibilities:

  • Review lesson plans and resources and be prepared to teach them online

  • Engage participants in active thinking and participatory learning using effective communication and facilitation techniques online, such as breakout rooms, asynchronous activities and group work

  • Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles

  • Provide in-the-moment feedback to participants

  • Create and implement systems to foster a supportive and collaborative online community

  • Provide relevant and timely feedback to students on formative and summative assessments

  • Input data on participant attendance, performance in class and assessments, etc

  • Trouble-shoot technical issues for learners throughout the programme

  • Collaborate with our Learning Managers to support programme quality.

My client runs training across West Midlands, London, Manchester, Dublin, Leeds and Scotland; however, the role is fully remote.  With a hugely successful track record in placing over 50,000 people into roles, the bootcamps attract partners such as The Prince’s Trust, Amazon Web Services, Multiverse and Infinity Works

If you have a passion for helping change the life trajectories of unemployed people and can bring some excellent IT training skills to the table, this could be the contract role for you.  To find out more, please contact us for an informal chat or send through your CV for review.
