​My leading professional services client is seeking an ITSM consultant for a 6 month contract, working from home, plus 1-2 days per week building relationships and working with stakeholders in the Central London offices.

This is a project based role and calls for both experience in ITSM tools administration and configuration, as well as BA experience in mapping processes for transitioning services between suppliers.  

The vendor is providing an out of the box service, and the role is to assist with the initial implementation and handover, architecting the system and handing over to internal resources on completion.  This is a superb opportunity to be truly involved in all stages of the implementation.

Skills and Experience:

  • ITSM Technical resource with solid skills business analysis skills

  • Experience of administering and configuring an ITSM tool

  • Previous involvement in ITSM (tool) replacement projects

  • Ivanti experience ideal, or possibly Cherwell experience.

  • ITIL4 certification

Responsibilities:

  • Act as ITSM tool  administrator, including setting up accounts, granting access rights, requesting system refreshes from the vendor

  • Work with integration team on setting up and configuring imports for the CMDB and user information.  

  • Constructing workflows and dashboards

  • Gather and document requirements for items such as request workflows, dashboards and reports.

  • Report building

  • Build automation within the system to maximise Service Desk efficiency and productivity.

  • Assist in developing and building workflows for a self-service portal.

  • Work with internal teams to develop and understand their working practices, challenges and  long-term goals and assist in documenting their requirements
