6-9 months Fixed Term Contract

​My client is seeking an experienced Apps Support Manager to manage a team of 4-5 Applications Support Analysts at a critical time in the organisation’s technical evolution as they fully embrace a Microsoft platform and environment.

The role requires the ability to see the big picture and understand everyone’s role and how they are performing; it will incumbent on the Application Support Manager to support the team to achieve its full potential and identify the members who may need additional support.


Leading the team to ensure:

  • Business applications are supported

  • Manage the systems lifecycle

  • Maintain the service catalogue

  • Knowledge management process is effective

  • Service requests are responded to in line with the agreed SLAs/escalation processes

  • Continuous improvement is a constant priority


  • Office 365 and Microsoft 365 applications and platforms

  • Service management best practice (ITIL, ISO (phone number removed):2018)

  • Ability to manage conflict and mediation both inside the team and between teams/services

  • Logistical; articulate and methodical, analytical, numerate and literate, work well under pressure, good time manager, good team worker, ability to multi-task

  • Personal attributes: punctual, tenacious, persevering, use initiative

  • To plan, develop, implement, document and review procedures and processes to improve ‘third level’ technical functionality and store in an easily accessible central repository.
