They are looking for a 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer to join their team in this informal, relaxed yet high performance environment where effort and achievement are recognised and rewarded.
Taking a huge amount of pride in the high levels of strategic engagement with its customers, my client offers technical expertise to its clients, operating its own cloud infrastructure and communications network.
The focus of this role is to provide 3rd line assistance to more junior members of the team and assist the team leader to ensure team SLAs and KPIs are achieved. There is a mixture of both BAU and project work implementing new technical solutions for customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide technical training or assistance to other members of the team
Assist the 1st and 2nd line teams with escalations
Work to SLAs
Liaise with 3rd parties as appropriate, escalating potential failures within the team in a timely manner
Aid in the creation and management of a technical knowledge base
Support knowledge transfer
Always present as professional, self-motivated and enthusiastic
Knowledge and Experience:
Extensive knowledge of Active Directory / Windows Server / Exchange / 365 / Azure / virtualisation / Networking
